Problem:
IAMS (pet food company) needed a lived-in home environment, middle-class income level, for its Client Lab in Ohio. The fictional family had pets and children.
Solution:
This was a fun project to shop for with the pet theme in mind. Baskets served as tasteful and homey storage for toys and books. Animal motif pillows, throws, frames, glasses, magnets, a dog cage and feeding bowls, etc. all reinforced the desired pet vibe. The furniture and artwork were simple and typical, and things such as worn-in backpacks, a hamper and even dirty laundry ensured that “lived in” feel.
It was a pleasure working with Jesse on our retail lab project. Her motivational skills made the project a breeze. With little information she was able to grasp the concept and proceed with minimal consultation.
