Travel Boutique

Problem:

This was a new business opening, and the budget was very low. Jennifer had access to grey metal desks and filing cabinets, which kept costs down, but the overall environment was sterile. It needed to be quaint, and get her clients excited to travel.

Solution:

The wall color we chose was neutral and warm, and I painted destination and travel quotations as another layer, giving it a fun feel. I created an accent wall using specialty papers with images of maps, old postcards and travel stickers. This theme was carried through with the desks, which were painted and appliquéd with ribbon and postcards. Vintage maps, globes and luggage pulled the look together.

“Jesse, thank you so much for your design and inspiration in my office; you did an excellent job. I wish you the best of luck in your venture and look forward to our continued relationship.”
